I really enjoy this place. I've been a few times, In a few different cities. But I really like this SF location. The last time i was here I fell in love with a new appetizer, a crockpot beef bluecheese dish, i cant wait to go back and try it again! Other dishes I've had, their spaghetti, very good, a jamaican beef dish, as well as a baby green's salad, I cant remember what else. I've always been pleased. Service has always been good as well. I will say it's a bit spendy, maybe even over priced. But this is at the Metreon in downtown SF, it's not going to be cheap, right?

I went here on a Saturday night about 1am or so. Who knows exactly what time, after dancing for the previous two hours. The pain of being in brand new heels was cutting off circulation to my brain. Basically house music, crowded, and filled with beautiful women. I was starting to feel ugly here, which is no good for my ego. It's definitely fun, a little too crowded for my taste, there were times where you basically couldn't move. The crowdedness of the place went up and down throughout the rest of the night. As far as ambience, think of flashing bright lights, go go dancers and napkins being thrown in the air. If that's your cup of tea, then definitely go. I had fun and it was great music, but not sure if it would be a place I would frequent too often, maybe on a less popular night.

I went here the other night for a designer's after-show party. We started upstairs where the scene was very loungey but the free Skyy and Peroni kept everyone out of the tables and gathered by the bar. As soon as the open bar was up at 12 the upstairs cleared out and my friends and I moved the party downstairs. Luckily the open bar did me in and I didn't have to pay for the over-priced drinks there. I enjoyed the atmosphere/decor downstairs a lot though. Way more clubby than the upstairs with the room's perimeter line with bench type tables and the entire middle of the room was a long catwalkesque dance platform which I took full advantage of. I thought the crowd was pretty diverse and the type of place you could feel comfortable in jeans or a dress. Although the violinist was talented and an interesting change of pace, I wasn't really loving the music selection. I wouldn't go out of my way to return but would definately go back if there was another event I wanted to attend.
