Not the best, not the worst. I think Opera is representative of big, super clubs in both NYC, LA, and Vegas. VIP Bottle service will cost you a few hundred per bottle, and regular cover is $20. We got to go for free through our law school, so I didn't have to pay cover, or wait in line. However, I can see how that can be frustrating for many people, especially for guys. Drinks are expensive, of course, and the policy of having no water available on tap is pretty dirty-- but at least $5 dollars got me a bottle of Evian and not a bottle of Deer Park, or whatever water brand they have in the south. Interior is nice. Crowd is decently mixed. Would probably come back here again, but if someone from Opera reads this, PLEASE GET SOME AIR CONDITIONING. Thanks.

I came here one Friday night, I knew someone that was promoting an event here. So on the bright note I didn't have to pay to get in. I'm not really into the club scene so maybe I am being a little overly critical but I just wasn't into the place. It was the usual type of midtown club environment. Low ceilings, scattered couches, not enough room to dance, bridge and tunnel crowd, overpriced watered down drinks and loud blaring music. I've never really understood why people were into that type of scene but if you are it's really no better or worse than any of the others. The best thing I can say is that it's the typical night club scene and I was glad I got in for free. Will I come back? If I do it will probably be with a new name and slightly redecorated. I try to keep my nightclub experiences to a minimum.

Possibly the coolest bar in my hood. I hear the food is also pretty good. Sadly when it comes to their grub, I've never had the pleasure. But surely when the time comes, it will be a moment I treasure. Come on a weekend night, when Divis is invaded By Marina chodes, yes call me jaded. I know I can find a respite. In some honey wine, a sweet Ethiopian delight.
