A good spot for the unofficial rateclubs after-after-party. The DJ was mixing some good sounds. It was loud, and had a good ambience. It was busy, but I could still grab a seat and have room to drink. There were two levels, and the interior decor was actually interesting. Drinks were cheap. 3.5 stars

The decor of Tao is simply amazing and the food is just as good. It's like having an excellent dinner inside a stylish night club. My favorite is the wasabi encrusted steak.

I went for the first time (and might be last, depending on a circumstances) on a Friday. Our friend is had her birthday there,so my partner and I decided we would come out and partaayyy. So what do most rateclubsers do before they go out? Answer: Go read other rateclubsers review...well, at least that's what I think. Read and expected to wait in line until guest-list is closed. Well that wasn't the case - our party waited at least 15 minutes. I thought it was a great start. Our friend told us the attire is "Dress to Empress. I'm not really suprised since straight clubs is all about that - so while we were waiting in line; hoochies were hoochiefied, men were dressed very casual, shirt, jeans, etc. Once inside, I thought the club was very nice and well put. The house room was closed when we got in then opened later on. The basement/hip hop room/dungeon reminds me of a sex club. haha Maybe it's just me (although, I did see these couple dancing like they were dry humping...gross...straight dry humping). There's a lounge area also at the "sex club"; white fleather couch, nice lighting, it was overall nice. Only complaint is that people here are BOO BOO, music is alright - esp. if you used to be a hardcore circuit party boy/go go dancer then you're used to hardcore drum and bass. The house music was very mellow and I literally fell asleep but it might have been the alcohol, who knows. Two stars for you Mr.TempleBar
