Good thing about rateclubs: Anybody who has given this place better than 1 star in these reviews, congradulations you don't know shit. Your reviews for anything else are now null and void and I will literally write a list of who gave this place any sort of praise so I can cross check and decide the exact opposite of what you say from now until I am done using rateclubs. Probably the worst place ever, and a laser light to boot. HORRIBLE

When the Frying Pan was parked on Pier 63 it was THE Coolest Place to be... 10 years ago. Spooky, rusty, rickadee ship to dance your ass off to Turntables on the Hudson... drums beating, people grooving and just to be on the water was soooo amazing. Then for some reason the parties stopped and the shipped became a place where you can have drinks after a hard days work....  a small bar and couple of Webber type grill for burgers (tasty charcoal ones cooked with care) while watching the flaming reds/oranges in the sunset which was magical -2 years ago. Now downhill as it's become more Corporate. On my recent visit for a going away party now parked --Pier 66 there where table after tables full of "suits" ?! Assembly food line: You order your food from a guy with a mic. Gives you a ticket  and says "ready in 10 minutes" (no love on the food!) There's a teleprompter in large red digits corresponding to the ticket If you somehow forget and of course the guy blares the number out. (reminds me of being at carnival). Ordered: $31 Coronas -in an ice bucket, plastics cup with limes (oh btw the bartender flips off the caps like he's on speed -don't buy into it and take your time - ignore it. $9+ Burgers (3) -below average pre slab in a factory patties -gross. $ 5     Cajun fries (2) -stale All waste of money and taste buds. $8   Organic salad -only good thing with grape tomatoes. All for about $78.00 Smellier bathroom then 2 years ago, stalls that you'll definitely catch something if you're not careful! Go for the drinks, view but I would skip the food for sure. 3.5
