I've never been inside this sack of crap, but as a diplomat from the working neighborhood of "North Tribeca," I have this to say: This place smells like shit. Every day to and from work I walk by and inhale a vapor unlike anything I've ever smelled before. Part sewage, part rust, part body odor, part plastic foliage. The smell can't even be cleaned out of my nose by the nearby Aveda salon scent... I cannot for the life of me fathom waiting in line in this rotten stink. Please don't go so this blight on my already shitty work neighborhood will go out of business and vanish.

Been here a few times. Definitely very hollwood-ish. Don't come without a ton of hot girls, a ton of cash, or a great connection. And no, the guy you met on the plane who claimed to be a 'promoter' and would 'put you on the list' isn't going to help much. Prepare to drop some cash. Inside, i was kind of underwhelmed. Maybe all the hype made me expect it was gonna be better than it really was. I also got kind of a clique-y vibe from people... even for hollywood. Friend of mine said it was at least partially because the same people come week after week so the crowd is semi closed circle. They also have a really weird dress code that is starting to take root in hollywood. Do NOT wear a shirt with any kind of print design. A friend of mine reserved 3 bottles a few months back, dropping almost 2k in one night. After waiting in line for almost an hour and a half (why are we waiting for bottle service??), they wouldn't let him in because he had a print design on his t-shirt. The same t-shirt that has caused no problems in some of the hottest clubs in Vegas, New York and London.

The new Fado is a cleaned up version of the old guy you used to love. The new location still holds that old Irish charm but, it's got a clean fresh feeling. There are three levels of fun here. The top floor being the patio with a large bar, plenty of space, and room to move around. I enjoyed the new Fado. It's definitely a step up from the old Fado.
