To all those haters out there who think Tao is disappointing, you're just ordering the wrong thing. Definitely give the Crispy Tuna Sashimi Roll, Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, Crispy and Spicy Tuna Roll, Banana Bread Pudding and the Giant Fortune Cookie. My last experience was just as good as my first one and both were to die for!!

Vessel is actually nice once you get inside the venue, unfortunately that's when most people are turned off by the LA ego attitude Doormen. We were there on a friday night at 1045 pm, with a group of 3 guys and 5 girls (already rare in bayarea) There was 1 group ahead of us and we had to wait 45 mins. We actually waited that long because every 15 minutes the doormen would tell us "it'll be soon". All these hassles happened while we already had friends inside with bottle service. Once inside, the venue is quite spacious and dedicated to bottle service group. My friends occupied the entire VIP seating area on the left side with huge seating area and dance floor, so the night really started to shine. Surprised to say, Vessel really did have better girl to guy ratio compared any place else in bayarea, I guess that's where they get the LA like service from at the door? Doormen = 1/5 at least they were nice enough to keep us waiting Drinks = 3/5 typical price at higher scale clubs in the city Decor/venue = 4/5 I dig the velvet and the bottle service seating area Clients = 4/5 More girls than guys is always a good thing!
