by mary l. on wow. great place not only for summer i imagine, but also for fall! it wasn't too crowded on an oct saturday and the weather was breezy but gorgeous. plenty of room, great fun for a group, and the pingpong table and pool table near the strangely nice bathrooms were a bit of added fun.
by Tasha B. on I really wanted to like Mr. Bones. Not only to support a local business with an interesting history, but as an alternative to an endless line at a little bbq trailer down the street. Unfortunately, it just wasn't up to snuff. The credit card machine was down, so we had to pay cash. That by itself wasn't a big deal. The brisket and ribs were not moist and delicious, but dry and coldish. And that just ain't right for barbeque! I liked my sides of greens and mac n cheese and the servers were very eager. Perhaps some of their other items have more to offer than the brisket and ribs. I hope this place works out the kinks!
by Corrin Rifenbark on I had a different expectation for this place. I always thought it was nice and clean, but after my second visit here my eyes have been OPENED. I ordered an appetizer with my drink and everyone else I went with was still undecided. So please explain to me why, my APPETIZER, came after everybody's ENTREE??? The entrees weren't even ordered until 10 minutes after I had ordered my drink and appetizer. Flustered? Yes. Hungry? Yes. Annoyed? Not yet... After not receiving my appetizer and pretty much sitting in misery watching everyone else stuff their face and offer me "pity" food because I was starving, I had drank away all my soda to subdue my hunger. They offered me NO refills and since I had let a soda go through my system waiting I had to run to the restroom... ANNOYED NOW! There was paper every where... and well, you know what's on the floor when people don't aim. Dis-gusting. There was an event there that night, but you would think that means to have a couple extra people for clean up and maintenance to keep a level of cleanliness inside. Not at Jillian's!
