The guy I spoke to on the phone was SUCH a jerk that I created an account in hopes that this will prevent at least just ONE person from giving them business. So I purchased a http://Restaurant.comgift certificate to be used at this restaurant. Little did I know (because it was not indicated in the restaurant description), that there is a $5 "entertainment fee" JUST to eat there. When I called to confirm that the surcharge was a daily thing, the guy told me that I would have to call back later when the night-club people would be there so that they could better answer my questions. He proceeded to asking me what time I want to come in for dinner (which led me to believe that he was trying to make reservations for me). Because I was not positive whether I wanted to eat there (due to cover charge), I explained to him that I wanted to use a http://restaurant.comcoupon there, but was unaware of the cover charge. Despite my politeness, he responded by snapping back, "OK I'LL SAY THIS AGAIN, THE NIGHTCLUB PEOPLE ARE NOT HERE RIGHT NOW, SO I CAN'T ANSWER ANY OF YOUR QUESTIONS." My response ... "I'M NOT ASKING ANY QUESTIONS, ASSHOLE" *CLICK* HOW RUDE!

One of my favorite teashops ever!! It's such a friendly, family focused place. I literally could spend all day hanging out here. The staff is great, there are some awesome regulars, a few of which I was introduced to by one of the owners after I'd been there a few times, AND their selection of teas and treats is amazing. I can't have caffeine or sugar and I was delighted when one of the mangers was kind enough to walk me through the selection of caffeine-free options and offered me agave to sweeten my selections (so far I've had the lemongrass hot, the lemongrass and sour apple mixed together cold, and the wild strawberry cold -- and I recommend all of them!!). I'll definitely be back every time I'm in town for a visit! Just wish they had a place like this by me in Chicago!!

Let me preface by saying that the only good thing at HOME was the comfy couch and music... Oh wait just a second, If I recall correctly, the DJ kept interrupting the song to hear himself say "wave your hands in the air, say hell yeah" over and over and over, right in the middle of the song... Annoying much. Secondly, it was dead on a Monday night, Cinco de Mayo 2008 to be exact. However, it did start jumping right when we were leaving which was about 130AM. I guess NY does start to bounce at 1AM as my NYC pal informed me. My bad, but the DJ was killing my buzz. Finally, a group of 7 HOT and SASSY girls were asked to pay a cover...a cover. The club was dead, and they wanted me to pay a cover. Hello, shouldn't you have been paying me to get the party started. After my ranting, the cover was dropped to $10 and we were seated in VIP. Who am I kidding, we could have sat anywhere since all that was shaking was the speakers. No one, and I mean no one, had entered the club. Props to the cool ambiance and old school R&B that was being played. Both were the highlight of my evening...but wait...I can still hear the DJ in my ear..."wave your hands in the air like you just don't care, shout out to LALA on her birthday..." Should I continue....
