by Gennifer W. on I went to Drai's last week for the first time in a long, long time. I had the spicy tuna and some wine and we relaxed after dinner and got bottle service. A couple of drinks later I was out on the dance floor groovin hard, baby. I swear I got hit on by the skinny old dude from 2 and a half men. Not Charlie Sheen the other dude. I turned my back to him and kept dancing. There were some definite cheeseballs there but overall a great time.

by Cristy Sensenig on Don't listen the people who say that Tao's golden age is over! This restaurant is incredible, and still quite a scene even on a Tuesday night! I had one of the most enjoyable and delicious meals of my life at Tao, made even better by the company who invited me along. Though the bar area was crowded beyond my expectations, and the restaurant was full, the interior design and incredibly high ceilings really make for a nice dining experience. My only complaint is that the tables are close together, but after a few cocktails, we didn't mind our neighbors at all. Our table of five opted for the Chef's Tasting Menu, which was just an endless supply of appetizers, sushi, entrees and dessert. The Chilean Sea Bass appetizer is truly mouth-watering and incredible; I could have eaten it all night long! Lobster and shrimp combined dumplings put a fun twist on a traditional appetizer, and then we cooked Kobe beef right at our table! So much food came our way that I lost track of what I was eating, but everything was perfect and exciting. I really can't wait to go back to Tao, perhaps to celebrate a bonus or a promotion (since I'll need the big bucks to take care of the check)!
