However, it's close to my house, the music is good (I may be biased but I like to think I have good taste in such things), and the drinks are strong. And strong drinks are of the utmost importance to me, as they are my main source of caloric intake. Seating is cozy, it's not so hot that your pleather pants will be adhered to your skin like crazy glue and your hair will be soaking wet after dancing your ass off, and the bartenders aren't dicks. I can't say I highly recommend but I can say it doesn't suck. And again, did I mention it's walking distance from my house?
by Stella Y. on There are some ridonkulous fog machines here that will literally blind you until it stops. You won't be able to see ANYTHING but pure white. This can create a bit of a cluster if you and your friends aren't 100% coherent. It's kind of amusing actually. All in all, I prefer Circle to Hiro any day. The crowd is much better here. Minus the booking, the dudes tend to keep to themselves so you can avoid the creepy desperate types and can just dance. Maybe it's because fobs are less aggressive. Lastly, the DJ is hot!
