by Raymond S. on The chips and salsa were good. The dinner was ok... nothing spectacular. I ordered the Pork Chile Verde. Be careful because the food is cheap, but the drinks are $15 ea with lots of ice. Great music in 2 separate rooms: house/trance and hip-hop. The outside patio was PACKED, and you could barely move. And apparently the bouncers won't let you sit down out there... that was just plumb dumb! Why can't you sit outside? Aside from the cost and the douchey over-meaty bouncers, the place was pretty hip, and I'd consider going back, but skipping dinner next time.
by Mich E. on It's beautiful. It transports you to a very different place...a place where you think, "Huh, L.A. was once pretty?" The red velvet curtains, marbled walls, stained glass ceiling (orchestra seating), gilded arches, clean bathrooms, bar, lounges...made the experience very pleasant. Not much leg room though. I have cup holder marks on my legs to prove it. It was a very hot day in L.A. and a skirt was a must. Sara Bareilles was there and it made her concert feel more intimate. The closest parking lot charges $10.
