by Katherine C. on my girlfriends and i are used to getting treated really nice at club entrances, so when they asked us for $25 at the door, while there was no lines and it was freezing, i said uh ,lets just go somewhere else. the Bouncer reacts hella rude and shoves us aside, "go then! go to another place" and makes a face. hm ok Mr. sensitive. the promoter says no! hold on, let me work something out for you guys. so after 10 mins, we're in. The crowd was weird and the top dance floor was really small and crowded. people in this club were generally not good looking and rude, most people just shoved people around. While my group dances, these fat girls kept pushing us, at first, i thought they just wanted to pass by, then soon I realized they had pushed us out of the dance floor. wteffff. Roe...never again.
by Tiffany N. on I've had better sushi at the airport. My friends and I were looking forward to this place after hearing much hype about it. I loved the decor of this place and the drinks and that's about it. I tried the Ruby Red Dragon Fly Martini (I think that was the name at least?) I had the Chef's Roll and Salmon Sashimi, both alright. The service was absolutely horrible and the food, mediocre. I would suggest this place for drinks but the sushi was quality of something I could get anywhere else for alot cheaper.
by Asa Ficklen on It took me eons to find this place. I came with friends.. and we were lost like shit and the cold February month did not help at all. But we made it and the food was... decent. Well, I liked my food (I got fish, lame huh? At a steak house!) and my friends thought it was mediocre for the $$ My friend recommended this place heavily, saying it was THE spot in nyc. so, I fled. I came early in the day and it was empty. But as we were finishing up dinner, this place was packed! STK is a great spot, but too bad I wasn't dressed appropriately to feel good about myself and get shit-faced at the bar.
