by Johnathon Jacquet on I was not vibing this club at all. Maybe I was tired after being out late the two nights before. Then again, if I had the choice to go out to Hollywood, I would certainly not pick this club. They played hip-hop and rap which was a good thing but for some reason something was off. When we arrived at around 1030, the dance floor was empty. Awkward. Maybe it was a good thing that it wasn't so crowded, considering there were only two bathroom stalls! Imagine on a packed night...I guess you could go outside in the parking lot like the douche bag I saw doing it, haha! There were two couch areas in the back and you didn't have to pay for table service. This was awesome and I couldn't believe a club had free seating accommodations on the dance floor! We were able to chill and lounge when we weren't dancing. I think there were 3 levels- didn't bother checking out the basement since I heard there was not ventilation. We were able to check out the rooftop which was cool but it was also kinda dead there as well. The energy at Kress was blah.....so it made my night kinda blah. I do like the restaurant though. I would definitely consider returning to try the sushi and the food. We ordered dessert- the 5 different sorbets. Very cute presentation and yummy. Afterwards, we headed to the club. The hostess was very nice and she was able to get us into the club without having to wait outside and deal with the BS. Thank goodness because it looked like a mess outside and this was at the VIP/Table service entrance. Parking- $20.00 for Kress parking lot. It was worth it because we didn't have to walk and our car was right in front of the club. If you had to go back to your car for some reason, they were very nice and you feel like your car is in safe hands.
