by Ayelet B. on What a great location. A real gem and I absolutely loved the architecture and the history of this spot. I came with some friends to see the Hoodoo Gurus and it was a fantastic evening since I was in need of a fun break. The location is interesting but I had no problem catching a cab. The wine list is decent and they have a great cocktail list. One of my friends ordered the Nachos and it was so huge. I was scared that it would cause them a major junk food attack - they ate and ate but made no dent in the massive heap of gooey cheese and all the other "stuff" towering over the chips. I was told the hamburger and portabella burgers were good. There was a good crowd and fun was had by all.
by Crysta R. on Sucks!!!! Female bartender very conceited and rude and fat, she's only friendly to family, never a round on the house even if you've been drinkin there for 5 straight hours, environment is ok but not goin back!!!
by Arnetta Onstead on Buddha Bar is your typical posh night spot in Meat Packing District. If you go out a lot you will be adequately satisfied with the general atmosphere and the decor. Buddha Bar is a good starting place to get some cocktails, hang out a little with friends and people watch before you launch into the full debauchery mode at neighborhood clubs.
