by Aaron W. on I love this place. It is never empty nor too crowded. The service is excellent. The wine choices are all spot-on so far. I love the Tempranillo. The smoked trout salad is really perfect. I am so happy this place is in my hood.
by Smiggidy B. on Huge disappointment. Hadn't been there in 8 years and won't ever be back. Negatives: 1) No soap in the bathroom. Server said they ordered wrong and there was no soap left. Gross. Plus there are a zillion nearby stores where they can buy soap. 2) Tables were sticky. Like really sticky. Clothes sticking to the table sticky. Our server wiped the table down for us but said that's just how they are. 3) Lamb was super tough. Nearly impossible to cut. Overcooked or just a cheap cut, not sure. Flavor was good but the quality was definitely lacking. This place has gone way down hill. There are way too many good restaurants in the Mission to waste your time, money, and calories here!
by Darius Hammann on Totally "wowed" and blown away by the gorgeousness of the boom boom room. It is a great place to dress up and enjoy a few drinks with friends. Waiters are dressed in military jackets while waitress are in their white/peach gowns. Drinks can be pricey here (minimum of 20 dollar per glass), but the experience and fantastic view you gain from here are priceless. I haven't gone back since late last year, and it's about time to pay another visit. :)
