by Rohan D. on So I came to this place for w00tStock 2.5. The venue here was great, they had a bunch of small tables arranged around for people in groups to city at and order drinks/food. The seating at the balcony's kinda bites because only the people closest sitting on the edge can see so everyone else is left just standing around craning their necks attempting to see. So if you want a good seat, get here absolutely early, it's going to be hard to find something good that gives you a good view of the stage. Two particulars that amazed me while I was here were when I asked what beer on tap they have, the waitress just started reciting a HUGE list of beers and I was able to choose a good beer that I wanted. They have a very nice bar. They don't rip you off at all, the standard $5 for a glass that you would get at almost any venue. The second and the best thing about this place is one of the staff noticed that I was basically stuck standing up against the bar and was going to be there the entire night and told me about a seat that was open that nobody had noticed since it was in the corner. THANK YOU, standing up for 3 hours during the event would have been torture but he got me a seat. The fact that he even cared is a testament to the staff here at Great American Hall.
