by Joshua L. on I recently went to Atlanta on a business trip and had a late dinner here at 10 pm Atlanta time (which was 7 PM my time on the West Coast). Anyway, I ordered up a Lobster quesadilla and some kind of a corn chowder. Both were mehhh. Could have been due to the fact that I was there at the end of the night and everyone was pretty much done but regardless....overpriced and subpar. It's tough to make lobster subpar.
by Tara S. on I was having a great night until I arrived here. What an over-rated place for a drink....I came here for my birthday and was welcomed by a waitress who spilled her whole tray of drinks down my leg...you might say.... "well, accidents happen" and yes I agree but this down right rude, pathetic excuse for a waitress did not apologize but rather had pissed off look on her face and said out loud sarcastically "fantastic" This is were I lost the plot on her...I couldn't believe her attitude. I wouldn't have been bothered if she said she was sorry from the get go. Finally she apologized but did not offer me a napkin to clean myself up....NICE Customer service! NOT! Note to waitress: If you can't handle a tray of drinks in a crowd don't be a waitress in a busy bar. Next my husband and I sat down at a table that was empty and the same rude waitress told us we could not sit there as it was reserved...fine! We moved to another table and yet again were told to move off the sofa as it was reserved. Wow...you can't even sit down here unless you reserve with your credit card...Pathetic! Not a great atmosphere, bad service, rude waitresses, drinks average, music crap, trying desperately to be classy but obviously NOT! I can't figure out why there is a line outside the door to get in...this place is CRAP!
by Edith Pirozhkov on Where Do I start? I came here to celebrate my birthday 2/12/10 for caribbean night. It was my first time here and I signed up for the guestlist which constituted of me + one person free of charge. I get there, my names on the list but no one knew what free was. Its 23 degrees outside, me and my friend in pumps, dresses and peacoats becoming annoyed. The guestlist lady talks to her supervisor who doesnt know what I'm talking about either, I'm standing there like "ok so my name is on a list just to be on a list?" finally after complaining she lets me in, then we had to stand there another 10 mins so that a party of 13 can go in before us. Standing there another girl comes up with the same situation and the guestlist lady already miraculously knows what to do. Door people were all rude. Anyway, We finally get in, the club in small, nothing spectacular, 2 floors, music was really really good, drinks were good. Crowd was corny, full of a mixture of old, young, fat and in-betweens. ratio of men to women was almost extinction, there were women everywhere, and if they were'nt flashing long weaves in your face, they were grinding on each other and kissing, (yuck!). I also noticed while standing on the line how strict they were on dress code, they wouldnt let a few guys in cause they had on pradas and boots, yet when we got in, there were horribly dressed men in addidas and pumas #checkplease!...If I had to pay to get in, I DEFINETLY would pass it up, other than the good DJs, I was expecting upscale reggae and soca club with a nice mature crowd. This club was like any reggae club in brooklyn only diffrence was bottle service and another floor. this club is missing an essential element...Class!
