by William G. on Great weekend brunch spot. and creating your own burrito is fun... the spiced chicken is consistently awesome. They are famous for their Mexican martinis for good reason... although be aware that there is a two drink MAXimum for these. My suggestion if you plan on getting tanked is to have a beer, then move to a margarita, THEN get your two Mexi-marts. While there are some better places for just the food, whenever someone mentions going out for a lively fun dinner, Trudy's is one of my first selections.
by Chester Raneses on I checked out this place this past Friday and it wasn't too bad. Cover was 15 bones due to guestlist "discount." The normal cover is $20. The bouncers and promoters surprisingly didn't have an attitude (don't get me wrong, they weren't nice or professional but hey, I'll take that treatment in a heartbeat at a Manhattan club). The place had lots of girls and the age group was probably around mid 20's. Ladies drink for free until 11pm...so guys, show up at 11:01 to finish the job that the free alcohol started! Overall, this place was ok, nice layout, spacious and was able to take a piss without stepping in a puddle of 4 day old urine.
