by Diana N. on One of my friends had her birthday party here...and it was SO PACKED. No joke we could barely get from one end of the bar to the other. Total fire hazard. It's underground and has a very narrow layout. There are tables in the back and a DJ booth and a small open area in the back, so if you escape back there, it's slightly better. But this venue really is not made for too many parties at once.
by Thomasena Groenke on Starting at the beginning...the decor is beautiful! It is modern and innovative. The service was also extremely excellent and what I would expect at these prices. I had the Omakase which is in essence a tasting menu. The food was very good and I did not have a bad bite. I was a bit disappointed in the sushi course though. It was basic sashimi which I could have gotten down the street for a lot less. I guess I was expecting that as an Iron Chef Morimoto would take more chances with his cuisine. It was good but I think I will go elsewhere in the future to someplace that is a bit more original for those prices.
