Oh Blake's how we love your weekday church services by reverand Shawna Brooks and her disciples Lateisha Shante Shuntel, Martina Diamante, Bishop Eddie long and Tyler Perry. This place is pretty much where I repent of all my sins on a weekly basis. Don't expect a confession booth because most of the time you will be confessing all your sins to the bartenders behind the bar and don't blame them if your confessions end up on Facebook or twitter the following morning. Also, do not be surprised if when you get to your significant others place that your stuff is not sitting on the curb outside in the cold. There is a reason this place is well loved by everyone who frequents this place. It is where people come to drink, gossip, network, hookup and most importantly to have a good time. The place has two levels and a patio and on special occasions even a rooftop. The downstairs is usually hosting one of the most well known cabaret shows in the city and upstairs is usually a little more relaxed with chairs and a smaller bar. The Bartenders move at 100 miles per hour and still it is kind of difficult for a regular person to get a drink, but if you are a frequent of this bar don't expect to wait to long they make exceptions for the tenants with the most stamps on their 'frequent blake's card'. The difficulty of getting a drink is do to how busy this place is on a busy night. The drink prices are competitive with other bars and the atmosphere here is what you make of it. It is a mix of people predominantly made up of 21-35 young professionals who for the most part are easy on the eyes there are a few grenades from time to time. If you are a visitor this place is definitely worth checking out no matter what day of the week it is!

Heard about this place from New Times Best Of. My foodie friends and I went there. The wait is usually long -- plan for that. If you aren't planning on getting a hamburger then don't bother coming here. There really should be only one thing on the menu: the Delux Burger. Order it. It's good, tasty, plenty of portion. Get some fries (mix regular and sweet potato fries) and enjoy. I'm not sure it is a burger that makes me MUST come back every time I want a burger (we don't live close), but it was VERY good. In fact, if I lived closer, I'd frequent the place more. The place is a bit crowded, and definitely LOUD on busy nights. It's a bar pretty much, so keep that in mind. Root beer is tasty too. Recommend.
