by Leonardo R. on Two karaoke bars in one night,rockbox being the last one,was great i loved their place!! really classy clean and big,a fellow Ratecluber(don't want to name Clover) made the NYE party here and i had a really good time,big flat screen lots of seating and your own waitress bringing you the goods oh and drinks too ;) i like how they have an ipad to control the songs really neat!! this place is made to have an awesome time!!! price are moderate for what you get !!! ipb
by Gerard I. on I've had my share of good times at the Dragonfly. New talent is always around this place. I remember seeing "Halfcocked" play here, they were signed to Spider One's label via Dreamworks (he's Rob Zombie's brother). I also ran into John 5 a few times, he of Marylin Manson, Rob Zombie, and solo fame. Very nice guy, and humble. The place is somewhat small, but their sound system more than makes up for it. I've heard that Danny Bonaducci has "guest" bounced, or been the door guy at certain points. I've never seen him, so I can't say. There hasn't been a show that I've wanted to see here in quite sometime. I hope they don't go the way of DJ only tunes. It's a landmark of sorts.
by Brendan Mayen on yay YAY!! The best birthday dinner ever. yum YUM yum. After years and years of not having Ethiopian food, dinner here made me very happy and oppressively full. Plooshy modernistic decor, clean bathrooms, nice staff, and honey wine made it e'en better. Plus it won't break the bank either, unless you togg away excessively at the honey wine.
