I just adore most things with chili as a topping. Chili dogs, fries, burgers. Those who don't get addicted to Varitsy frosted oranges are probably no friend of mine, because obviously they haven't experienced such deliciousness during the hot summertime in ATL. The only thing I'm not particularly a fan of at the Varsity would be people yelling at me. Right? Isn't that what the whole experience is about, anyway? "WHAT YA HAAAAAVE" is almost way too demanding for me, but we all deal. ...Plus, I can't help but think they should scream once in a while- "What'll Y'ALL Haaaaaave?" sort of as a nod to "Welcome to Moes!" I guess. Anyway, this is an Atlanta spot that pleases. What you see is what your get, and then some souvenirs if you like.

I came to eat here about a year ago now. I came with a friend who was visiting from london and decided to go to a cool lounge and have some appetizers and chat it up. We got there around 8 and sat at one of the corner tables. They are set up to lounge so eating was a bit uncomfortable but for cocktails and chatting it was perfect. We had a nice server and ordered a couple of dishes. The food was spectacular and I was pleasantly suprised that all the talk about the food wasnt hype, which happens quite a bit at new restaurants/lounges. We ordered martini's and they were the average hollywood price i think $16. A friend of ours joined us and she ordered a house cab and I thought it would be $12 at the most (which is still quite a bit) but it turned out to be $16 or $18, i forgot which one. That shocked me a bit. I loved the dark atmosphere, the food was great, and I overall really enjoyed my experience. The food wasnt overriced for how delicious it was and was reasonable for that atmosphere. I havent been to the nightclub yet, but ive heard its great.

I have not been here for dinner - only for a private party. This is a great venue for a mid to large sized function. There are two main party spaces with plenty of room for both seating and dance floors. The food menu depends on the price...
