Unless you're a hipster with a hefty trust fund, an investment banker or Madoff before the crash, avoid this place. True, the atmosphere is nice with the multicolored lights, but this is basically a tourist trap. Bowlmor's pretentious ads (an anoxeric model in heels bowling with manicured nails? Yeah, right) claim famous people have bowled there. Big deal. So you'll get a chance to get ripped off like celebrities who make 20x your salary. No thanks. Overpriced shoe and bowling rentals, watery drinks and blah food. The only reason it exists is because certain snobby Manhattanites start hyperventilating at the thought of going to REAL, blue-collar alleys in Queens, Bklyn and the Bronx. Eek!

This bar is only for the brave. The music is good if you like hip-hop and reggaeton. But don't let the pictures fool you, this places is as big as my bathroom. You're all sardined up against other people, and unless you like being grinded on without permission, than this is not the place for you. If you're not Black, Indian or Spanish--than you might stick out like a sore thumb.

Large, minimalist interior with low slung couches that can be rolled around. That part I liked. I wouldn't say too too swanky, but that is a good thing. Cause it was full of lively, gorgeous people, with no attitude! For real, everyone there was smiling, it was awesome. What I am saying, if you want to go have a really fun type with a group of friends, there's a live dj, dance your silliest dance ever, this is your place. I thought it was really laid back, nice decor, bouncers really cool, waitperson comes around often, happy, excited people they're having a really good time. It was not a sleazy, dank lounge or a rowdy pub. A good mix of a proper lounge to mingle, sit, and enjoy a NY/LA/SF experience, a good place to wear your cutest top and go dancing with your friends. For the quieter couple sort, it's way too loud to have a conversation, but a good place to start/end an evening. Not too crowded, the night came and went, although there was a huge line outside when I left. So, I think they keep it not too uncomfortably crowded on purpose. Pretty cool.
