by Trisha Papaleo on I'm VERY surprised at the superb ratings Bob is getting from rateclubsers. I've been here several times and yes the music is very good and fun to dance to. The drinks are fairly cheap. You don't get hassled at the door. The place is very typical LES bar/lounge setup. It's a small box basically. I mean, you can dance but its going to be in the same spot. The vibe is good here but 4 stars? ... 5 stars?! I just don't see it. Good times though, no doubt about it.
by Pammy S. on Overrated at 1 star. Service=terrible. Food=not good. Scene=definitely not cool. Let me elaborate..... 1. Service. We were seated upstairs in a cozy lil area. The seating was flimsy and dirty. There were so many stains and dirt on the seats that it looked like someone had an "accident" on every piece of furniture in our area. There was food on the floor, before we even ordered. The lame ass, boring waitress lacked spunk and any sort of manners. The menus included a "mix" of both current and outdated wine and food lists, with totally different prices (but don't worry, you will still be charged the higher price even when you address this with the staff). 2. Food. Not gross, but not good. Super small portions. Like really small. 3. Scene. Ahhh...this place is in the mission. Like 22nd and Mission, but it would do much better in the Marina. No diversity. No cool people. Just a bunch of yuppies serving other yuppies in a race to make more money and continue the gentrification. Sad. This place is yucky
