by Cheryl T. on I was here for a private party and had a great time. The bouncers are crazy, just like any other club in Los Angeles. The place (pretty small by Hollywood standards) was absolutely packed - there were people dancing on top of the banquettes. I tried it and let me tell you it is really dangerous to get up on 5-inch heels with a drink in your hand and try to dance on 1.5 feet of space with people all around. Fortunately, I did not spill my drink on anyone or fall into a crowd of people. The music was good. The drinks were apparently expensive, but what do you expect, right, guys?

The mojito was perfect and the long island had the right amount of lemon juice to gin/tequila/vodka/rum. The desserts were a bit disastrous. We sampled their ice cream cake (which tasted like it was recently-defrosted), the creme brulee (which had way too much espresso in it, despite the waitress forewarning us there will be espresso in it), and the red velvet cupcakes did not particularly stand out in memory. i've certainly made/had better elsewhere. The reason for three stars instead of two is because of our wonderful waitress, who had just enough sass to handle a bunch of gays out on the town on a Friday night.
