by i. o. on For drinky-drinky on a weeknight catching up a friend from a previous lifetime, I thought that (congruent with the lounge feel), it'd be possible to find somewhere we could actually talk. Nope, it was impossible on this unremarkable and empty weeknight to find any spot where we didn't need to shout over the blaring speakers. Next time Rye or Cantina, down the street would've been a better pick. On a positive note, my Capirinha was astonishingly good!

The food was just ok, but I guess that's not the main reason people come here. I have to admit it, I'm not all that big on jazz. but this was pleasant and interesting experience
by Sonya S. on My husband and I went to Spice Market for our anniversary. We had the $48 p/p deal and got a lot of food! We had 10 different things brought to us. The avocado salad, cod, pork skewers were good. We found the food to be flavorful and seasoned. I wasn't crazy about the.kumquat blackened chicken. The dessert of fruit in coconut soup was so good it should have been served in a bigger bowl. I can't recall the others but they were pretty tasty. I wouldn't say the food was at all bland. Perhaps the food is not consistent or we just got a better range of samplings from the menu. The place had been open three weeks when we went and it was packed. It's a trendy place in the W Hotel in Midtown and the food is fun. I'm glad we went once. It's that kind of place for us.
