I had my birthday party here and it was a blast. I recommend this place if you are like me who hates crowded and cramped places. Hiro has an upstairs area for lounging and downstairs area for dancing and more lounging. I like that there are places to sit without having to buy a table. There are 3 bars so its never a struggle to order a drink. My only complaint is the 1-1 boy-girl ratio to get into the club. It reminds me of kindergarten, how you have to buddy up. The night I went, ladies got in for free and guys paid a $15 cover. The cover is steep but at midnight you get a show. The pole dancers come out and the canopy dancers swing from the ceiling. Very entertaining...

the room looks great and I really wanted to find a great late night neighborhood gem BUT this was the worst experience in dining since my mother cut off service Service: near non existent and despite attempts to get attention of host, barman, other servers - no eyecontact yoiu would think that if I eventually have to walk to the bar and ask them to send our server over (more than once),some one should take a note - perhaps the knives are out between the staff- it seemed no one was happy to be working there and even after all that and asking for all the forgotten dishes more than once, server was barely apologetic with each reminder of forgotten dishes and being ignored for long times and worst of all friendly chit chat with the passing of the check to me with a party of four every one of us had errors Food "crusty pork loin is house specialty, some one at this table should order it" Wow -- dry tasteless piece of meat that should have been jerkied burger and fries without the fries (note ketchup costs an extra dollar!!!) ravioli - long after the orders are in the kitchen, oh we were out of that ribs without accompanying vegetables and for drinking water, bring your own even wine re orders- we eventually just gave up Entertainment: nice small room but I should have known that when everyone from the eight oclock show was finishing dinner at nine thirty and on one stayed for ten - it was a bad sign squeeze a ten piece rock-pop band into a small space and put a trumpet solo in your left ear and see how relaxing it is. and the instruments were all mic'd all in all - a grim and disappointing experience
