I will definitely be back to Project One. The layout is original with a separate gallery area and lounge area, it's a lot bigger than one would expect. I could see going there for happy hour, some late night dancing (the DJ was awesome) or even throwing an event. The Owners did an excellent job of creating a truly unique space.

POD is all about the atmosphere. You'll feel like you're in that Janet/Michael Jackson Video "Scream." I've never sat in the 'POD"'s with their changeable colored lighting, they always put me in the back with the not-so-hip people. I feel this place is a bit touristy as well. Anyway, the drinks are unique. The food is fine. A bit pricey though.

I'm so glad we have an aquarium to visit in Atlanta. It's fun, it's interesting--it could be a way more educational--and will take you under 4 hours to visit. Look for the $3 and $5 parking lots adjacent to the $10 (!) lot the signs direct you to. I am however, REALLY disappointed that after all the ecological talk and hype, that the Georgia Aquarium decided to go for the least environmentally friendly, and most unhealthy food service they could find. I hope the fish and mammals are given more nutritional and appropriate diets than the humans! Seriously, there's way too much Coca Corn Syrup, way too much bad fried food (and you know I'm a "friend of fried" so I hate to hate on it). During midday today, the River Keeper exhibit hall reeked of the same smell of my middle school cafeteria! Yuck! By skipping any and all ecologically sensitive packaging and food choices, the aquarium has missed a huge opportunity to carry the environmental "one ocean" message all the way through the vistors' experience. Why not talk about all the trash that is dumped into our oceans and how it affects the habitats of ocean-dwellers? Why not bag all the plastic bottles and non-reusable service-wear? Where are the recycled napkins for G's sake? Come on Georgia Aquarium--put your money where your message is and really educate your visitors about the full spectrum of how the waste we generate affects our planet! Dear Georgia Aquarium--Email me if you need help finding the folks who can help you on your ecological way!
