Stayed at the W for a recent business trip and ended up here to celebrate someone's birthday. Music: "W" lounge music with a club twist Decor: standard bar/club decor WITH pole dancing poles in the corner Drinks: Yum! They're slightly overpriced - it's at a hotel so what do you expect? *be careful when you walk down the stars as you're leaving!

I went to Mighty on August 9th for Salted with Miguel Migs and Kerry Chandler. Any place that brings that caliber of talent and history in gets a big thumbs up from me. No lines and no dress code make me doubly happy. I had no problems getting in with my flip flops, not even a blink. Just like others have mentioned, the sound system is loud, which is just about perfect for my hearing abilities. The layout is OK, but there are a couple of pillars right in the middle of the dance floor. Its not a huge place, but is intimate enough to get quite close to the DJ booth. Great mixed crowd as well. Only complaint are the costs for drinks- a double Stoli on the rocks ran me $18. But, the bartenders are friendly, and seemed to enjoy the music, which is a plus for me. My only miff with the place was when one of the managers actually asked my friend to quit bouncing so much. He's a big guy, so kind of understandable, but still... how you gonna tell someone to quit dancing at a dance club? Would definitely go back anytime I'm in SF.

I live right around the corner from the Culver Hotel, and even as the Culver City bar scene continues to grow, the Hotel will always be my favorite. The staff is wonderful and oh so crushable. The meat and cheese plate was respectable. And they serve the best martini in LA, the GREEN TEA ICE CREAM MARTINI. If you enjoy drinking your desserts, this martini is a MUST.
