by Colby Crockarell on I should preface this review by saying I stopped going clubbing for the sake of clubbing awhile ago. But I still go out to support my friends when they perform. That said, the bouncers at Greenhouse are the worst examples of humanity I have ever seen. They do not honor guests lists and now I've heard THREE different stories (plus my own experience) of people on the guest list being made to wait in the cold for over an hour, because the doormen favor 18 year old girls with dresses so short the world is their gynecologist. One look at who they prefer inside and I was not interested in staying to hang out. I don't know why any DJ or band would come to this place when their friends/entourage/guests/regulars are given such a hard time. Plus, a friend of mine had her jacket stolen in the VIP lounge. I would give them zero stars if I could. Very bad business model.
by Sandy L. on After the Giant's parade yesterday, we were looking for a place to grub. All the places we walked by were packed. We started walking towards Howard and stumbled upon Fat Taco. Location is a bit odd, because it is inside a nightclub. CLUB NV. My friend said he tried it before and he swore that the first taco's were the bomb. To my sup rise, he was RIGHT! :) Crispy Mahi Mahi Taco: Mahi was crispy and I had it FAT..so good! Spicy Pork Taco: Pork was moist and tasty Must also order the Yucca Fries...super crispy...best fries ever For dessert get the plantains...bc they re pretty sweet. There is some seating in the CLUB... Location is weird but who cares the food is GREAT! :) Food gets 5 STARS Locations gets 3 STARS so averaging to a 4 STAR
