I'm not quite sure why I still end up in the meatpacking district thinking I'll have a good time. (Spoiler alert: I never do.). Tenjune was no exception. It was a night of mysteries. Mysteries I couldn't solve. Mysteries that still plague me the morning after. I probably spent the whole time (I could only stand it an hour) trying to figure out how the hell the DJ got his hands on the set list from my HS Freshman year Homecoming dance. The music was laaaaaame. Looking around, I saw pretty models and pretty regular people. But how anyone could find slathering yourself in neon poop butter could look attractive is beyond me. The models don't do it. Why would you? You look like crispy fried chicken. And the biggest mystery of the night had to be: Where the f*ck are the hot guys?! I asked a self proclaimed regular if this place was always like this. She said it has gone way down hill in the last month. Is she right? Was it just a bad Thursday night? I'll never know because I don't care enough to come back and find out.

Coming from a tea addict that has probably over 30 types of tea in my cupboards, I was delightfully surprised to find a new type to add to my obsession! Birthday cake tea!! I mean it tasted just like birthday cake, and the loose tea had rainbow sprinkles mixed in as well-super cute! They had a good variety of loose teas, and some yummy looking pastries (although I didn't indulge in, since I was stuffed from lunch) My other half ordered the jasmine tea milkshake, which was actually quite refreshing! They offer free wi-fi and have plenty of space to set up your laptop, and indulge in some goodies!
