by Alex C. on Overall I think the main stream NYC clubs are heavily overrated. I've been to clubs in other cities in the world with no name that have twice as many 10's and a party environment that is laid back yet glamorous. Marquee's spotlight ran out years ago especially after tragedies it's experienced. I like the layout of the place, but the crowd here has gone from glitz and glamor to mediocre. Guys expect to get bottle service, you'll spend about 200+ a guy. I recommend bringing a large group of friends here if you plan on having a good time. The music is mixed, there's a main dance floor, a private bottle service room behind the main dance floor, and an upstairs bottle service room which is usually more popping.
by Shawn W. on Flip best combines fine dining with, well, you know, burgers. They also have plenty of vegetarian and "other meat" choices, such as turkey burgers (Miss D. liked hers). Location is great, though area can be congested. Service is great and prompt. Ambiance is modern, with somewhat loud, clubby dance music, and a beautiful front patio. You forget that you are on a busy street. This is not a discount establishment; lunch for two with entree, drinks, and sides is just over $30.00 with tip. You are paying for the experience. Recommended for mixed groups of men and women, or women, 20s-40s. Not a place for kids (because of the price), or the elderly (because of the price and loud music), or groups of guys (too "girly").
