by Rebecca M. on Awesome chill daytime drinking spot that I plan to be at more often. I hate stating that its a hidden gem because that always ruins it, but it truly is to me. One of the best veggie burgers I have had too. If you are hungover, start drinking immediately because the boat that it is on does actually rock. Nothing a couple beers cant fix though. Also possibly one of the creepiest bathrooms I have been in. Down in the boat, its wet and musky and dark. Not a place to hang out in. Also, if you decide to jump off the side as did one of the patrons after the rain storm where we all got soaked anyway, you will be immediately asked to leave by the friendly down to earth staff.

I about shit myself, gave her the $20 bill (because i felt bad that she already poured it) and walked away with the deer-in-the-headlights look on my face. I could not believe it! For the rest of the night I found ways to creatively finance my drinks for my drinking pleasure. Poor unsuspecting drunk boys... I never do this, but when a girl is desperate for booze, she needs to pull out all the heavy artillery. Being that it was a hip-hop show, they didn't search anyone on the way in the door. This was a little disturbing to me. If you think that I am making a generalization that hip-hoppers tend to be violent and carry things like weapons on them when they go out, you're right. After a few drinks, I forgot about this, but in hindsight, I think that this was a bad choice on their part. I probably will never go back here. I don't care who's performing, being shanked at a show isnt worth it.
