by Dan D. on Ugh. Horrible. Food was TGIF quality but three times the price. We were crammed in our seats like sardines with just inches separating the tables. In NYC, there are so many choices. It's best to skip Tao.
by Sarah C. on Went for dinner on Sat. 7/17 and had a fabulous meal. We had the clam and calamari appetizers which were absolutely delicious. I tasted the duck, scallops, flounder and salmon and they were all wonderful. Cooked perfectly with just great. I hadn't been here in a few years and was a bit concerned when some recent negative reviews. But it was as delicious as I remembered it.

Better than average, and will be top of mind whenever I'm feeling like a burger.** Glad they put a little attention into the lettuce/tomatoes/onion. Fries are straight out of grade school cafeterias. OTHER FOOD - who knows? Doesn't look outstanding, so I stick with the burgers. SERVICE - 2 stars, but that's cause it's totally passive, not bad service. Don't expect much and you'll be happy. **Medium rare sometimes comes out raw. From now on I'll order medium (for shame, I know).
