PM circa 04-05 brings back tender memories, but my hesitations vanished when my friend's invite included table jam-packed with bottles and pretty things. Despite lax face control, the place was not crowded on Sat nite and patrons looked alright. Music was great, top 40 with some bias toward hip-hop. PM's layout is still there with furniture and balcony seem upgraded. So if your gang doesn't look or dress at par for top clubs, G is a solid option.

Yes...there was a wait, but anything worthwhile is worth waiting for. This wait is more like waiting for your gorgeous prom date to walk down the stairs so you can dance beyond curfew to Duran Duran. None the less we were seated at the bar, which served just fine. The staff was running around, but there wasn't one of them that didn't have knowledge, answers, suggestions, and a reason for being so busy. No one I encountered had that hipster attitude (thanks Johnson). Part of the obnoxiousness of being a hipster is that you won't ADMIT to your hipster ways. I do not sense that with this place. They know they're the bomb-digity...and they're RIGHT. Food is wonderful, and NOT overpriced. The drinks are freakin' SPECTACULAR, and anyone who won't admit that is a FOOL (I said it...). I had a Shirley Temple that changed my life! All that being stated...I loved the Show Room. But that's because I am willing to wait, and pay, to enjoy a TRULY good show.
