Had some Pat's and immediately walked across to Geno's to compare. Gotta give to to Geno's by a nose but I prefer the classic feel of Pat's.

I'm glad I came here because the inside looks really cool. From the name, you can assume what it used to be. It is a great place just for the atmosphere. But I am not a fan of the rude bartenders. We were waiting for a long time and nobody came to help us. Then finally when they did I spent about 30 bucks on drinks only to sit at my table to find that we had to order $25 bucks per person. Yes, apparently if you reserve a table you have to order a certain amount of food/drinks and the server taking care of your table is the only one that can help you. Umm but I just spent 30 bucks on like two drinks! The drinks that I tried were not even that great and not worth the price. They look so much better than they taste. I got their popular drink, I forgot the name, but it was kind of brown, and in an martini glass. It looked so pretty but it didn't taste pretty; I couldn't even finish it. If my drink is in a martini glass then I expect it to be tasty. I guess they are trying to go for the ol' prohibition style tasting drinks. Which is cool. I mean I love The Jazz Age and The Great Gatsby, but I don't even think Gatsby would serve a drink that was not tasty at one of his parties. The stairs are scary to walk on if you're a little tipsy, so hold on to those handles! This place looks cool, but I don't think I would suggest going here unless I was invited. We went before a line started and nope there is no way I'd wait in line for this place. Of course if you go with great people like I did, you'll have fun anywhere you go.
