This place was recommended by my fiances boss who used to live in Japan.... both times we have been here we have gotten the chef's choice where we have the chef choose. we choose the 50 dollar portion which is good but sometimes they'll throw in something like california roll or something which kinda sucs. 10 hour pork kakuni is amazinggggg pork belly in a hot rice porridge. very delicious. morimoto ramen soup is pretty decent for a soup before your meal. tuna tartare was awesome but for the price you dont get a lot to warn you. but the taste is great....atmosphere is great to take a date or come with a group. but for those that dont know this place may take a little chunk out of your wallet...esp if you decide you want some drinks!
by Sudheer S. on I wonder how it got 3 stars. First of all, the door men are very racist. I still don't know which race they are against. Very pricey and diluted drinks. Music is just OK. They are far better clubs in Meatpacking which have better music and service. Dont every try going here. Waste of your time.
by Andrew Halter on I love this place, good food, good atmosphere. The staff is friendly. They say you can plug your laptop in when they are not busy, even though the sign on the outlet says not to. After 3pm, some pastries are buy one get one free. yum.
