by Jess N. on It had been a long, long, long time since I'd been here. I blame time because I forgot how great this place really is. Don't let the same thing happen to you! This has been a Public Service Announcement. Anyway, it's interesting how having a table to listen, watch and hear music can make the whole thing a lot more relaxed. The waitress was really attentive and could've come by slightly less. Sometimes it felt like she was eyeing are table to figure out whether we needed anything the same way a dude checks out a woman with giant knockers (less than subtle). After the show ended, everyone stood around for a good 30+ minutes chatting away, but the staff didn't seem to mind. The women's bathroom was also super clean, which somehow surprised me. According to my amigo, the men's bathroom was clean too. So don't hold it when you're here. FYI: there's plenty of meter parking in the area but remember to bring quarters. Some meters are old school and some you pay at the kiosk with cash or card. Just make sure that you check the signs to avoid getting a ticket.
by Deshawn Grundy on I almost j'd in my pants alternating between my plate of short ribs, my fiancee's burger, a cucumber and gin cocktail, and a 27 degree shiner. Nice lounge-y decor....nice bar....nice booths. We didn't go on a game night, so it wasn't loud at all. Overall, it was one of the best meals we'd had in the area. I'll give it 5 stars if it impresses me again.
by Sharlene C. on been here before for a birthday dinner followed by a little rump shakin' . last night i stuck to drinks and food. half off cocktails until 8pm. who doesn't love that? i've had the rose in the past, but last night it was the flamboyant. it was hibisicus, lime, vodka goodness. could have used more vodka, but you can't really complain for $2.50. i've had the mafe in the past and it's been my go to dish, but i wanted to branch out so i got the cofi volaille (sp?). it was a curry with veggies, potatoes and grilled chicken breast with couscous. yumtastic!
