Friday night this place was a sweat box, with a guy girl ratio of about 10 to 1, with 9 out of 10 being gay or foreign. $25 admission for guys and girls. $45 round 4 beers not including tip. I forced myself to stick around for a second round and I left. This place is small, and as far as I can see, attracts the wrong crowd. However, I would go back if there was no cover, free drinks all night, and about 150 less dudes. haha. I won't mention the 6 polish hookers in the smoking area dancing to a hand drum begging guys to buy them drinks. Don't go here.

My perspective of this place may be skewed. I came here on a date with a wonderful girl and we cozied up to one another as Jackie Payne and his band belted out some amazing Blues music. I've never been to a blues club before - only jazz bars - and I was immediately struck by how smooth and sensual the music is. This place was packed, and despite my wanting to try the food, I had just come from dinner. The drink list was reasonably diverse, although the wine menu left something to be desired. That being said, they didn't force us to do the two drink minimum ;-) thanks, nice waitress. They ended with Al Green's "Let's Stay Together" which, I must admit, is THE BEST DATE SONG EVER. My date was getting jiggy to it as much as I - and the rest of the customers. I'm a big fan since the date ended with a few kisses...mostly thanks to the hot music. Thanks Biscuits and Blues...oh, I will come back for the mac and cheese someday.

We were about to go to beauty bar that one friday night, but the music sounded way more interesting at little baobab. We walked into this little tiny packed room.. and ended up having a blast! The two DJ's were spinning some great soca music (kevin little et all) and also mixed in some bhangra! I haven't eaten here but give the place 4 starts for the music and the interesting drinks.
