by Elisa T. on Great Vibe here, came here thursday and it was a nice crowd for happy hr. I was ready for a drink as soon as i got there, but wanted to try a cocktail instead of the usual vodka tonic. The bartender was very nice and took a couple seconds to suggest the Charlotte's Web ($8) Not a bad price and GREAT DRINK! It was so different, exactly what I was looking for after a long day at work and commute from the east bay. I dont remember EXACTLY what was in it, but there was basil leaves and cracked pepper on top, trust me, this drink is SOO GOOD. Crowd, everyone there was there for the happy hour, because as soon as 8pm hit, the crowd was gone and moved on to dinner or another happy hour. This place is small and cute, good service, appetizer (olives, cheese, crackers on the tables) and GREAT Charlottes Web.

J/k. :) It's been a few years since I've been here and I have yet to come back here since it changed management a while ago. What was there not to like? Aside from the few tweakers stinking up the dance floor and making a spectacle of themselves by their crazy azz dancing, this was the place to go to for all night deep house music. You could come here and you'd bump into a ton of people you knew... sort of an after party place to hang at. When you didn't want to dance you'd just chill with everyone in the back area. Luvs this place with all my heart.
by Tracy W. on Go Kat's! I checked this place out on a Thursday night with live band and nice!!! The place is too cute on the lower level of another place called: Hamlet. I did not even know that this place was sooo close to where I live I never paid it any ATTN. I literally pass by it when going to Piedmont Park to work out and never stopped. It's a cute DATE spot as well....cozy for two...hint..hint..wink I heard all about the great reviews of the drinks specials....which by the way, I will be returning on Friday nights for the $5 martini's.....Gota go back for the martini love! The food was gooooood as well and such a great price. I am a PIZZZZZA lover and yes, some people can mess-up pizza however Kat's Café got it right for a great price! 9'in pizza and hhhhhhhmmmmmmmm goooooooooooood. The only thing I can say about Kat's that needs improvement would be the service....the chic was taking forever in a day to work only "TWO" tables.....my table and the other table was looking at each other like: "okay, are you guys still waiting tooooooo"! LoL!!! Friday nights at Kat's here we come!
