Man, this place rocks. I went there for the Bootie Pirate , so there was a live show before. Show itself was very San Francisco style, and you know what I mean. Lately the music was really cool, mixed songs from 1990's and on, very enjoyable. The club is on two floors, and on the upper one they play different music, but it depends on the DJ. Drink prices are totally reasonable, 4-6 bucks for a beer, 8 for a cocktail, but there was a $12 entrance fee. Definitely to try, especially when there is a Bootie event.

if you can afford it (a plate + side + coffee runs about $20) this place is totally worth it. make a reservation. the menu varies according to season and availability at the local market. usually an omlette, pancake, waffle and some other random option. the country sausage is AWESOME! wait staff is super nice. and, carmen is hottie.

Tons of reviews for this place so I'll keep it brief: 1) Been here four or five times; can't say I've ever had the time of my life here, but definitely a welcome addition to the SF club scene. We need more NY like club venues to kick it 2) Like the ambiance and the intimate layout of the club. I like how dark the club is. Bar downstairs, fun people watching from balcony and bar upstairs, small room to smoke in for those of you smokers out there 3) Look good and you'll have no issues getting in 4) Not a lot of seating when it gets crowded. Book a table for a get together / night out if you need a place to recline 5) Kind of hit or miss on the music and the crowd. On the music - I am way more impressed by places with stellar DJs that can mix it up beyond the radio hits / 80s dance music. Not the most innovative / creative music, but serves the purpose for a fun night out. On the crowd - sort of a mixed scene. Not as exclusive as their door policy would lead you to expect.
