by Claude Perrella on This might sound a bit harsh, but i didn't LU V Bruno's. I'd heard it was fun because there is a dance floor, but my first thought was "I just paid $10 for this? That's a whole cocktail and i would've enjoyed that cocktail!" Cocktails are average prices ($7), but besides that i was not impressed. There was a "VIP" room where you can get bottle service, but to tell you the truth i would not waste money at a bottle at Bruno's.

On a fine Tuesday late night, drenched in eefin rain, the cabs kicks us out in mid meat-packing district. As I pledge allegiance to the Buddha, and its fans in Paris who built the greatest club in the world, brought in the trendiest indian deejay as a resident, and adorned the place like a guggenheim... new york definitely fails to please. And so did a Stanford clone at the Buddha bar. After 10 long minutes, we headed to the Blue Muse in West Village for some jazz.
