This was the second stop on a Friday night dinner gone horribly wrong. Sure maybe I was mistaken to assume that being invited out to dinner at Pisco with friends meant we would be eating dinner but instead we bar hopped. Landing here after a couple cocktails at Pisco I was delighted to see a piano in the back of the bar. I was ready to relive my college days in a piano bar belting out Billy Joel but sadly I had not had enough cocktails at this point to provide my rendition. Luckily our waiter was very ready and willing to help myself prepare and also bring the joy of my singing to the masses. After the Grappa Incident of 2006 I tend to stay as far away from vodka as possible. So I stuck to the beer. Bluemoon would do for the evening. Apparently, that was the way to go as Greydon U was stealing sips from everyone else; suckers! The waiter kept the beers flowing for me and all of my other friends there, the piano singer sang the classics such as Elton John, Billy Joel and Def Leopard but no Depeche Mode (sadly). Anyway the classic tunes and drunken crowd made this place a lot of fun. They served pretzels they were delicious that or I was hungry. After a couple hours It was time to move on so we finished our drinks and were gathering the crowd. I spotted two new friends sitting at a table and let them know of our plans to hop. One friend sadly said she could not finish her Peach Martini. So I graciously volunteered to drink it. Yeah I guess that dislike for vodka totally goes away once I have had enough drinks. Anyway I left this place feeling more than happy and headed off to the next bar with a group of friends. Bottom line this is a great place to grab some friends and go have a few cocktails or beers and then hold your own karaoke session. I can't wait to come back.

Go Kat's! I checked this place out on a Thursday night with live band and nice!!! The place is too cute on the lower level of another place called: Hamlet. I did not even know that this place was sooo close to where I live I never paid it any ATTN. I literally pass by it when going to Piedmont Park to work out and never stopped. It's a cute DATE spot as well....cozy for two...hint..hint..wink I heard all about the great reviews of the drinks specials....which by the way, I will be returning on Friday nights for the $5 martini's.....Gota go back for the martini love! The food was gooooood as well and such a great price. I am a PIZZZZZA lover and yes, some people can mess-up pizza however Kat's Café got it right for a great price! 9'in pizza and hhhhhhhmmmmmmmm goooooooooooood. The only thing I can say about Kat's that needs improvement would be the service....the chic was taking forever in a day to work only "TWO" tables.....my table and the other table was looking at each other like: "okay, are you guys still waiting tooooooo"! LoL!!! Friday nights at Kat's here we come!
