by Connie H. on i like the lady in the restroom. actually, i think she was the best thing at the club. friendly, helpful, and funny. it could've been love. the bartender is cool. drink was strong. saw a guy was a sweatshirt hoodies walking around. how the heck did he get in? went on a thursday. it was pretty dead up until about 12. they made the guys wait outside in line even though there was literally, NO ONE in there. the decor is nice. lots of sitting space! *hearts. cool smoking area. felt like it was indoor. actually, i think it was indoor but there's opening in the ceiling...if that makes any sense. that about sums up the night.

The mixed nature of the reviews so far seems to pertain to the food only - the consensus seems to be that the service and atmosphere are quite good. Based on my experience and reading others' reviews, I'd say that if Top Flr could get their stuff together in terms of the food, this place could be excellent. There are two "flrs" to this place, with the bar on the bottom. I liked the environment on the second floor a lot. The lighting is magenta-ish, which I thought worked well with the black and white furniture. The furniture is remarkably comfortable, too. Our server seemed like a great guy. He gave us a free appetizer for my sister's birthday, and either accidentally or purposefully neglected to charge us for a beer someone in our party ordered. We ordered the a bottle of wine and he started raving about how the staff likes to drink that wine. He was friendly but not overly so. The menu LOOKED appetizing, and there were lots of things I would have tried if I hadn't been full. All we had was the edamame, which was steamy and as another rateclubser mentioned, the bottom of the pile was marinated in soy sauce. It wasn't too crowded at 11 PM on a Friday night. This could be because people can't rely on the food, of course, but I liked the reasonableness of the number of people there.

I used to really love this place until I saw the same things Justin B. did. *Sigh* The girls seem to be looking for the cash and unless you are 6' tall - or taller - wear Gucci, or are a model, you have no shot of even being seen. However, the atmosphere is a very pleasant one. I do love to people watch and you definitely have plenty of that!
