I've been wanting to check out Supperclub for quite a while now, and I was excited for our reservation on a Friday night (which I had booked over 6 weeks in advance).  We dressed up and got there ten minutes before our reservation and there was quite a long line to check in.  While we waited, we witnessed the host-and-hostess-in-one be really rude to the people in front of us and basically told them that the restaurant was full and that they need to get out of the way.  I started feeling jittery even though I know we had our reservation. When it was finally our turn, I gave him/her our name, and the he/she said "oh, you guys are on our 'not-to-let-in' list" and I was flabbergasted.  "What do you mean?" I said.  He/she responded "We are overbooked tonight and we called you this afternoon and you didn't pick up."  I honestly never got a phone call and I tried to explain that to the host/hostess.  And like the people before me, he/she just gave me a very unapologetic, insincere "Sorry honey" and then said, "Please move out of the way."  I tried to argue some more, but my friend pulled me away and stated that he didn't want to spend money at a place that treated their customers so horribly anyway.  Fortunately with my friend's iPhone, we immediately looked up and booked a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be wonderful. Nonetheless, I was really disappointed and furious by how Supperclub treats their customers.  What kind of restaurant "overbooks" (it's not like they are an airline) and then just cancels their customers at will?  Even airlines don't do that (they'll at least kindly ask people to volunteer to take a later flight in exchange for some sort of compensation).  I will take my money somewhere else!

August night. Late review. Another "in" club in Hollywood, gag. We arrived outside to a crowd of ppl waiting to get in. Great. It's a good thing we got a table and our party of 10 guys & 3 girls deep got in free. I wasn't too impressed with the place to begin with because I knew it was formerly Club XES. Once you step inside though, it was clearly renovated with a contemporary feel. But any improvement and change from Club XES is a good one. We were escorted into the back room near the smoking area (blah smoking area btw) for our table. Nice. I immediately got drunk. So drunk, I don't remember half the night. But I do remember 2 ppl falling on a sml puddle near our table. Im thinking liability and that service should clean that up fast. No luck, and 1 more person proceeded to fall on her bum which happened to be me. Haha, sue me. All in all, I think the guys had a great time. 1 even got lucky. The girls were friendly in the restroom (probably due to the alcohol). So, there - a semi-review from what I can remember that night... EDIT: So, I recently came back. And I was sober. Which meant I actually got a better look at this place. I like the decor, its sleek. The dance floor is huge. 2 bars. And the smoking patio was nothing more than a sectioned off part of the parking lot. It was crowded but it wasn't pain the ass crowded. So, cool place to check out at least once.

I've been there for a few performances. The spot is great. nice and cozy not your typical socialite hangout but its a place where you can unwind and relax. You have to get there on the early side to ensure you have a good seat and trust it will be worth it!
