by Molly T. on I really like the Ear Inn. Have been coming here regularly recently after work & they always manage to fit big groups of us in with no problem. Drinks are standard and the service is good. My coworkers are obsessed with the chili. Also, there are crayons on the tables for drawing while you sit!!
by Miki Eichorst on I'm surprised by the bad experiences that other reviewers have reported at Suede. I LOVE suede. It's never so crowded it's uncomfortable. Each room has a slightly different vibe, one chill and trancey, one groovy and one bump and grind room. Usually if I want to go to suede I let the DJ, or suede, know I'm going to be there with a couple of my gfs and ask to be on the VIP list. They are usually accomodating if you make it clear you're a regular and give them at least 3 days notice. I've been comped the last couple of times, brought a couple of friends and we all had a blast. Even though the drinks are a little pricer they are honest with the alcohol. I wouldn't drink too much too fast or risk being on the floor. I'm always shocked people have a bad time, so perhaps I've been lucky or just go when I know my friends are holding events and such.
