My friend and I met 2 fun, spunky guys who kept on throwing out Greenhouse as an option for the night's next destination. I had assumed it was some sorta divey, dead spot, but was surprised to discover that it was actually quite trendy. We slid in w/ no wait, 'cuz our new friend had some sorta connection, which I'm thankful for seeing as how other reviewers noted that the wait is ridiculous & the bouncers super selective. There was an intimate crowd hangin' out upstairs who were lovin' the band that was rockin' out on-stage. My only complaint was that it was ear-splittingly loud. I couldn't figure out how they were managing to enjoy the show when their ears were probably bleeding. The colorful LED lights added an awesome effect to the place. It makes the ambiance glam/sleek at the same time and really sets the scene for their shows. Love it. Downstairs is a much different scene. There's a narrow space for dancing and plush seating along the sidelines. The music was pretty bangin', w/ good hip hop & pop. Although Greenhouse is known for being all environmentally friendly, I couldn't agree w/ Rachel A. more.... the fake leaves dangling from the ceiling just looked plain tacky. C'mon. When you set the scene w/ a nice top floor, then you'd think the downstairs area would be just as classy. My sidecar tasted like crap. If that was my first time tasting a sidecar, I'd probably write it off altogether. Good thing I've had some solid ones! All in all, I'm glad those guys convinced us to go, but w/ all the other spots to hit up in NYC, I'm not sure if I'd go out of my way to come here again.

Visited Rosa Mexicano with my mother for her birthday.  We came here for brunch as a IKEA pregame spot.  I always prefer to head into IKEA full and at least two drinks down! We started with the guacamole that was made fresh for us on the spot.....moved on to margaritas that definitely had a kick and I didn't leave a bite of my eggs on the plate.  The breakfast was AMAZING! Those that bashed the food might be on the right track for lunch/dinner but the brunch was oh so tasty.  I thought that the spirited staff, killer decor and amazing margarita more than made up for any downfall in the food. Just like any other place in Atlanta you will pay more for the experience so if you are a tight wad and just in search of Mexican food.....then  head to your nearest El Torerro.

I was expecting something different and I found it.   I've been here twice, both with a friend whose totally into the scene.  1st time I did OK, just wore black and I felt almost a perfect fit.  2nd time, it wasn't planned and I went right after work in khakis.  Let's just say it wasn't the type of color you will find here.  Nevertheless, I felt welcome and nobody gave me shit.  Actually, nobody cares about that kind of thing. I found it perfect for getting away from it all. The music varies and if you enjoy all types of music, you should enjoy it.  This is a pretty big lounge with 2 levels although the upstairs may not be open every night. Big Plus for the HOT HOT dancers.  They looked real and were HOT., THANK YOU!!! The cover charge was something like 5 bucks and they have a good variety of drinks.  I found the prices very in-expensive but you do get them in plastic cups. jeje
