by LaLa N. on i live down the street, so it's great that this place is right there. i had a SLICE WITH BACON! and it was pretty awesome! best bacon pizza in town. some friends of mine had a VEGGIE SLICE and it was like a farmers market shat on a slice of pizza. i think this place was great. you should try it if you're in the area. i wouldn't go too far out of my way for it though.
by Sergio Landstrom on I must warn some of you upfront.. this review may seem like an afront to you.. or to people whom you may know.. but in all seriousness you are probably not deserving of a place as beautiful and realized as Temple. I was at the Cheb i Sabbah show the other night. And the majority of you weren't even dancing.. or even seemed to care about the music..the men were pushy and constantly moving and disrupting the flow on the dancefloor. Most likely the WORST crowd experience i've ever had in San Francisco. Which is a city that knows how to party..!! But the majority of peeps who go to clubs these days are COMPLETE AMATEURS. That's why us party folks have private parties only.. or go to Burning Man. Cause the club scene folks are just so not on point! Temple needs to be promoted to the artistic, activated, intelligent people of the Bay Area. Not the booze it up practically clueless straight meat market crowd that shows up. The Stars are for the venue itself...which is gorgeous and has so much potential. It's really depressing to go into such a great environment and experience so much dis-connect from the crowd.
by Wendy T. on 1. You can't slide down the slide if you have a skirt/dress on. Boo. 2. Drinks are fabulously overpriced. 3. The crowd is more groups of friends than anything.. Wouldn't really call it a "singles" bar. 4. The DJ's grand piano booth thing was pretty cool looking :) 5. Bathroom has waaaaay too long of a wait.
