by Aaron R. on My girlfriend lives in Cow Hollow and this was the first place she took me on my first visit to see her about a year ago. Since then we go every time I'm in town. The tacos here are like nothing I've ever had before. We get them Nick's way, and it doesn't matter what you choose as your protein option it's always delicious. My personal favorite are the fish tacos, whether grilled or fried. The hot sauce they put on the tables is very tasty and great to squeeze onto each bite. They also have great margaritas and drink specials on Taco Tuesday, and if you stay long enough things get a little crazy. Overall, this is a must eat if you are in the neighborhood, or for that matter, in San Francisco.
by Charity Jaques on LOVE the Blue Note! Fantastic Atmosphere, great music!!! Great selection of wine. The menu could use a little tweeking though. Vegos are limited to a salad and a pasta (but then I wasn't really there for the food). And it does pay to get there early to ensure a good seat (an hour before on a Thursday night was plenty). The only thing that we weren't so sure about was staying for the second set. Given that the 2 sets are sold seperately we thought that some of the tunes may be repeated from the 1st set, we didn't expect that most of them would be though... (we've just moved here from Oz, and in Sydney if you go for dinner you get 2 completely different sets, and sometimes the artists keep jamming into the wee hours).
