We came here because it was close to Cha Cha Cha's, where a group of us had dinner. The name sounds kinda gruff, haha, but I found it to be easy going and not too shabby. The line was short, bouncer friendly, and we paid 10 for cover. They played a mix of hip hop, 80s, and a lil house. Clean and not too crowded. Upstairs was closed. Bathroom small but not bad. We kicked it in the VIP areas with no problems, the reserved signs didn't mean anything to anybody. I liked how there were waitresses taking orders for drinks all around the place, so I had my share of lychee-pineapple martinis! YUM! It was fun to people watch with my girls, and its funny how you can see the dancefloor from the outside. There are bacon-wrapped hotdogs from a stand outside! 3 bucks! Sure, I would come back for an easygoing night with friends.. it was fun and I felt comfortable.. I really like the special drinks they have going on..

Negatives: 1.) It takes forever to be seated (regardless of whether or not you have a reservation.) Upon walking in, the host asks you to make your way to the bar while they await the next table to become available. 2.) The noise level (upstairs or downstairs) is incredibly loud. I had to yell across the table for my dining guests to hear me. 3.) The service can be quite slow. I've yet to finish a meal in under an hour here. Positives: 1.) The atmosphere is very chic and sophisticated. I would compare it to my experiences at a high-scale bar/restaurant in NYC. 2.) The food is amazing. Everytime I've taken someone here, they are amazed at the quality of the food and the drawbacks of the facility dissolve in their memory. 3.) The atmosphere is unique and adds to the experience of "fine dining." I would recommend this restaurant for a group of people wanting to spend the entire evening lounging at a fine restaurant. The setting is really more fitting for a couple looking for a date night; however, the noise level is far too loud for an intimate dinner. Still, I just love this place far too much to give it less than 4 stars. So consider this a STRONG 4-star review!

This place needs to diversify its crowd soon or else it will be known as the "Asian" club and in my opinion, that's not a good thing. You want a club to cater to a wide audience and attract a diverse crowd, and this place does not. I'm Filipino, so I can usually blend in Asian crowds but even I felt out of place here. In addition to the crowd, the music is also not a selling point for this place. It wasn't the best dance mix and yet girls still fought on stage to "dance" to it. My advice is to skip Suede and hit up the many options in North Beach instead.
